Some indistinct cursive handwriting is on the back of the canvas frame
The gold painted timber frame is much more recent and has been professionally made
In very good condition for age with only minor blemishes to the painting surface. Frame presents well with some very minor separation to the edges- still sound.
The painting could be easily removed from the frame if required.
