The frame is covered in a green fabric- most likely linen
Signed lower right and dated 1950
Painted by English artist Ernest Forbes (1879-1962) and is most likely a Yorkshire garden as he was living there in the early 1950's
Painting measures 60cm wide x 50cm high
Frame measures 74cm wide x 64cm high x 3cm deep
In good/fair condition.. There is age related wear including craquelure and small areas of paint loss. The frame has some marks, discolouration, scratches and blemishes.
