The form and shape of each flower and leaf has been captured exceptionally well- and constrasts beautifully with the dark background.

Ornate timber and plaster detail frame
Presents very nicely for age. Very minimal wear to the painting surface. The frame has some small bumps and blemishes to the plaster. A few touch ups to the gold finish here and there. Some losses to the corner detail bottom left. Slight separation to the corners but sound.
A really lovely painting.
