Perhaps off to the theatre to see "Lulu Belle"- which was a film adaptation in the 1940s of a Broadway play of the 1920s- unfortunately I have no further insights into this piece.
Lots of gorgeous pastel tones throughout including blues, pinks, oranges and yellow. As well as some nice use of light and shade. Her face has been captured with skilled detail.

Original tacks can be seen around the edges
Measurements are 61cm high x 46cm wide x 1.5cm deep
In good condition for a vintage painting. Some faint scratches, scuffs and craquelure of the surface along with some rubbing to the edges of the canvas.
